1943 He was born in Kecskemét. He graduated at College of Dunaújváros as mechanical engineer. He worked for Dunaferr (Dunai Vasmű) Metal Works at R&D department (technology dept. later). He was dealing with technological issues from 1970 onwards.
1972 Establishing first workshop where He has improved his ceramics, porcelain and silicate workout technology. In parallel He completed engineering designs and solved wide varity technical issues. He worked in industrial factories ie. Porcelain Factory Alföldi in Hódmezővásárhely or at Herend Porcelain Manufactory, or at Zsolnay Factory in Pécs. He build up network at glass manufacturing sites all over the country like in Berekfürdő, in Ajka and at Oroshaza Glas. He experienced R&D studies with glass bending, heat forming of glasses, enamel burn-in and designed industrial owens.
1972 He became student under István Gádor's supervision. Later He became his colleague. Csertő made His Master's great installations, public statues, drinking watersources and lathe machining of porcelain sculptures.
1974 He designed heat resistant surface insulation for cauldron and its manufacturing technology.
He made special machines for requests. In Szakmár He realized a compactor and an 18 meters long burning owen with its feeder mechanism.
1977 His first stand-alone exhibition in Dunaújváros. Ceramics, porcelain forms and wall plates.
1978 Installation in front of Orosháza Glas factory, a 4 m height glass spiral.
1978 1,2 m diameter fontain in the City of Orosháza, made from glass and chromium steel.
1978 Kecskemét has special role in His life as well as Ceramics studio and Kecskemét Art Colony. He created theatrical scenery for Katona József Theatre. He prepared building models for József Kerényi.
1978 Stand-alone open-air exhibition in new city centre of Kecskemét. Ceramics, porcelain, marble and metal scupltures and installations with 0,8-4,8 meters dimensions.
1980 Transsylvania studies: Architecture of Transsylvania and especially life achievement of Kós Károly inspired Him and brought together with artists and architects. Scupltures became spotlighted based on versatile materials and big sizes. This time working cooperation formed with Makovecz Imre. This professional relation remained active and fruitful till Imre's leaving.
1981 Szolnok, Cultural Centre: Stand-alone ceramics exhibition. Installments, vases, plates.
1984 Kecskemét: Stand-alone open-air exhibition. Glass scultures made from sheet glass with 2-3 meters simensions. Blowed glass balloons with 1-2 meters dimensions.
1985 Orosháza, city centre: Stand-alone open-air exhibition. Ceramics, porcelain, metal and glass installations.
1986 Dunaújváros, Park Grove: Stand-alone open-air exhibition. Glass, ceramics, porcelain, marble and metal installations, statues.
1987-2000 1987-2000 Székkutas, Castle Park: Stand-alone open-air exhibition. Glass, porcelain, and metal installations, statues.
1988-1989 Paks, Roman Catholic Church: Metal structures, tower elements (bodies and peaks), chromium steel moon, golden sun and cross. In1991-1992 He constructed Hungarian Pavilion in World Expo, Sevilla and realized its towers' peaks, chromium and goldened decorations, roof coppering as well as interior copper covers and brass subtitles.
1990 He established ART CSERTŐ Limited partnership Co. which deals with building design and realization.
